Ristorante Frescobaldi London is the first standalone restaurant and wine bar to be launched in the UK by Italy’s oldest and most respected wine dynasty. The Mayfair launch marks the first joint venture between the Frescobaldi family and the Good Food Society.

Head Chef Roberto Reatini has created an array of delicious dishes that celebrate Italy’s rich gastronomic tradition such as Risotto with langoustine and artichokes; Veal cheek pappardelle with rosemary bread and Tiramisu. These are paired with an extensive array of wines produced by Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi, from the entry level Castiglioni Chianti 2013 through to the flagship cuvée, Brunello di Montalcino Castelgiocondo Riserva.

As italians we are tough customers when it comes to our own cuisine. Now, tuscany is a region apart. their food is mostly great. rich but great. Frescobaldi delivered ok. A party of three we had: crostini di fegato: bread was too toasted. not easy to eat. crostini are on toasted bread but the trick is to be eaten without an attempt on teeth zuppa di maltagliati an beans: very good tartare di aragosta: not easily found in restaurant's menus. good if somehow weird on the taste we drank Frescobaldi Prosecco. we spent £260. expensive but very good service all together.
