The Drop Mural Painting School

The Drop is a mural painting school open to all levels, which provide training in mural painting technique.

Kids mural painting classes:

We run courses for kids (4-5 years old) with parents on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11am-1pm. The fee is per child. We will explore basic primary colour and simple colour mixing painting on large surfaces to get familiar with the mural painting techniques. This specific course is tailored for parents with kids who would like to spend the morning painting together and have a lot of fun learning the basic of painting on a big surface. For the size of the painting, kids will easily connect painting together and sharing the same image. Parents could also have some relaxing time in the Cafe’ tasting the amazing specialities of Eritrean cuisine. Material is included in the fee.

Adults mural painting classes:

This course is open to any level and age (13+) on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6:30- 8 30pm and Saturdays at 11am-1pm and 2-4pm. It is designed for whoever would like to commit and learn the basics of mural painting technique. In 15 weeks we will explore the following subjects

• Basic drawing
• Large scale painting
• Light and Shade
• Trompe L’oeil
• Perspective
• Mural history and technique

We highly recommend to attend the class every week for the whole term following the methodology and enjoying the process with the right concentration that mural painting requires.
We will guide you through this process guaranteeing high quality results depending on your commitment.
