Silvia Fonda comes from a background where love of cooking and good food has been an integral part of her upbringing. After spending over twenty years working in the finance sector and as a career advisor, she decided to formalise her knowledge of nutrition by adding a more scientific approach. This led her to achieving her BSc in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Westminster.

Following her degree, she has attended several courses to ensure that her knowledge of nutrition is up to date and closely follows new scientific research involving nutrition and health. She has also completed training as a metabolic balance® coach, in personalised sports nutrition and most recently the AllergyWise Course.

She is fully insured and is a member of The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy. Silvia is also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, the only register for Nutritional Therapy recognised by the Department of Health. Furthermore she is on the ICO register and complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Silvia is a Healthcare Member of the Anaphylaxis Campaign and has been awarded a certificate for their AllergyWise training from the Royal College of Nursing.

Silvia’s nutritional approach is all about designing a personalised programme which takes you from your present situation to where you want to be. This is done by educating you at every step by explaining how your current diet and lifestyle may be contributing to your health concerns.
