A word from Rocco London

Rocco London is an authentic Italian restaurant with the addition of a Cocktail Bar and a deli shop called Salumeria located in Old Brompton Road. The restaurant has a relaxed and comfortable design produced from a clever recycling attitude from the builders buckets lamp shades to the recycled table mats. With typical inter-regional Italian cuisine, all products are produced in house from breads, grissini and and focaccia baked on a daily basis, fresh pasta made on the premises, with a addition of a delicious desserts buffet displaying a wide selection of home made cakes. Rocco London imports their wines, characterises and coffee directly from Italy. It is a real Italian experience, from the menu layout, to the food quality and a warm welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

This large, sparse restaurant with basic chairs and tables is at the unfashionable end of the Old Brompton Road, just beyond the Earl's Court Road. For simple Italian fare, well cooked, it couldn't be better. Our set lunch was £14.95 each for two courses. We chose a mozzarella coated with ham and served with rocket and baby tomatoes, which was pretty basic, and followed with home made ravioli cooked al dente, piping hot, filled with squash and covered with sage. The dessert, not included, was a marvellous fig tart, baked on the premises. This is not for a special occasion, but hits the spot for a casual meal out.
