Gabbi, who has over 25 years of specialist experience in Italian cuisine, started as a humble apprentice in the Land of Chianti, Siena (Italy) and as he grew in experience, he travelled all over Italy learning his chosen art. Finally, arriving in London and bringing with him a breadth of regional Italian flavours, Gabbi met Andrew and Piccola Italia was born.
But only 2 months after opening, one fateful evening, the dream nearly came to an end as rioters decided to tear down Ealing, including poor Piccola Italia. But undeterred, though a little bruised, Piccola Italia re-opened.
Now, Piccola Italia is growing from strength to strength. Most recently, it had some great reviews from the Ealing Gazette and the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle, as well as getting a brief interview on ITV1!
