Kidd Rapinet has been established for over 50 years and as well as having a head office in the City of London it also has offices just outside London in the Thames Valley. As from 3 September 2013 the firm became a limited liability partnership.

Initial consultations are usually free of charge, except in special circumstances where we are engaged to provide more in-depth advice.

Global outreach

Kidd Rapinet’s reach is global. Each of our offices and departments advise international clients from around the world on aspects of English and European Community law. We can advise on the legal aspects of inward investment into the United Kingdom; from immigration, to starting up or acquiring a UK business, to property investment. We also act on a wide range of transactions and assist in resolving disputes, which are subject to English law.

Through our extensive network of international contacts, we are able to provide our UK clients with a legal service that extends beyond national frontiers. As one of the members of the Commercial Law Group, an association of European and international commercial law firms, we are able to take advice on the international aspects of a legal problem from our correspondent firms in the appropriate jurisdictions. Where there are cross-border implications, we will work closely with our fellow lawyers to ensure that our client’s interests are best served.

Kidd Rapinet is also a member of the United Kingdom Advisory Network, which is facilitated by invitation of the UK government. UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) – the government department tasked with promoting and developing the UK’s international trade and business – describes the function of the UK Advisory Network as being to provide an accessible route to high quality and trusted professional support for foreign investors setting up in the UK.
