I am a fully qualified mechanic so you know that the parts will be taken off correctly and carefully. All cars are stored in a dry unit, disassembled methodically and parts are stored on shelves until sold. In most scrap yards they are left out in the rain so everything is damp and damaged. So sometimes the most important part you require, you may have to take your own tools there and remove it for yourself . Whereas at Italia Auto Parts they are already removed from the car ready for collection or postage. I only buy low mileage cars and all parts are tested before the car is dismantled.
