IGuzzini, born in 1959, produces indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, and is today the first Italian lighting company and one of the most important in Europe. It has headquarters in Italy, in the Marche, in Recanati, where it covers an area of 150,000 square meters.
It belongs to the Finanziaria Mariano Guzzini (Fimag), owned by the Guzzini families, heirs of Mariano Guzzini, whose headquarters are the companies: F.lli Guzzini, iGuzzini, Teuco.
Production is articulated in indoor lighting and outdoor lighting fixtures. From the earliest years to the definition of the products, important architects and designers have collaborated, such as Giò Ponti, Rodolfo Bonetto, Bruno Gecchelin, Renzo Piano, Norman Foster, Gae Aulenti, Piero Castiglioni and Jean Michel Wilmotte.
And since designing the light also needs to be aware of all the aspects related to the quality of the light environment, they collaborated on these topics with iGuzzini also researchers, physicians, sociologists and physicists belonging to important international research organizations such as Harvard University (Cambridge), MIT (Boston), University of La Sapienza (Rome), Politecnico di Milano, Institute for Higher Conservation and Restoration, Lighting Research Center (Troy, NY).
The company operates on the international market with exclusive branches and distributors offering commercial and technical assistance.
