For one year he was then a scholar at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) to further his education in dental implants and afterwards he completed a three-year full-time postgraduate program in periodontology and implant dentistry at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden).
He is registered as a specialist in periodontology both with the GDC (General Dental Council) and the EFP (European Federation of Periodontology). Mario contributed several scientific publications regarding dental implants and limits his clinical practice to gum diseases and dental implants.
