Dr Daniela Piras is a Consultant Dermatologist. She specialised in Dermatology & Venereology cum lode in Italy, at the University of Sassari. In 2003 she moved to London where she worked for a year at the Royal London Hospital; from 2004 to 2018 she worked as Dermatologist (Consultant Dermatologist) at the University Hospital of Barking, Havering and Redbridge in Essex, dealing with any skin problem. Currently she has been working at the University Hospital of Epsom and St Helier in Surrey as Consultant Dermatologist covering all areas of skin disease. Her main area of interest is skin cancer including the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of malignant growths. She has an advanced training and experience in Dermoscopy which she uses to assess any type of skin lesion both benign and malignant. She also does the mole mapping and the excision of the suspicious lesions.
