We were welcomed in on a busy Friday evening without a reservation and immediately made to feel as if they had been expecting us to arrive at any minute. Our waitress, Ilaria, was amazing: friendly, engaging, and her timing of the service was perfect. For appetizers, Ilaria had recommended the poponcini peppers stuffed with goat cheese and dressed with balsamic vinegar along with the arancini with basil pesto; both were simply amazing. For the main course I had the Prosciutto Di San Daniele pizza was good, but the truffles had an odd taste to them. My wife had the Tagliatelle with rabbit ragu and we both agreed that the ragu was one of the best we'd had. After our meal here we are looking forward to visiting Cucina Asellina in New York City which is a little bit closer to home for us. It will be interesting to see how they compare.
