A group of 6 of us visited Corleone after a few recommendations, and reading the reviews here. An unassuming restaurant front leads through to a fair sized seating area and bar at the back of the premises. The menu has a really good choice of food, but my eye was caught by the great looking pizzas coming from the wood fired oven. In fact half of the group decided to go with a pizza, and none of us were disappointed. A lovely thin crispy base, with a generous helping of toppings (mozzarella, Italian speck & onions) made it one of the best pizza's I've eaten in a long while. The rest of the party chose other items from the menu (Penne Sirloin and Spaghetti alla Carbonara among them), and similarly they were very happy with what they were served. Service was very friendly and helpful, and we didn't have to wait too long for anything on a fairly busy evening. Corleone is a great little Italian restaurant in Colliers Wood, and I think we'll be returning at some point soon.
