A friend and I ended up in Brixton Market after seeing a film and ran across an Italian eatery that looked inviting (small) but cosy with a nice simple menu. I ordered the meatballs and my friend the pan fried salmon. Both came quickly enough and looked simply lovely. Simple presentation but really appetising. I was offered extra Parmesan, which is always nice. The wine list is short but has an actually really choice of wines, including by the glass, which really suited the food on the menu. That is a rarity in very small restaurant. We went with a wine from the North of Italy. A Gavi d gavi. The atmosphere is warm and cosy; a family place.
