Artusi is a delight. No overly-complicated menus, no pretentious dishes - just straight, honest food cooked splendidly. There is very limited choice (2/3 starters, 2/3 mains and usually one dessert or ice-cream), but this, for me, is an advantage. And the prices, for London, are unbeatable. We have been several times, and have never been disappointed. Although the menu does change, the regular highlights are the octopus and potato starter, the ox-heart starter, the home-made tagliatelle with ox-cheek ragu, and the olive-oil cake. To complement all of this, there is a great selection of local Italian wines. For a snobby Italian (me), this is a gem of a place.
